Overview:
Our client is an innovative AgTech software business developing technology that powers the global fresh produce supply chain. Their platforms help growers, exporters, logistics providers and buyers operate more efficiently through scalable, cloud-based software solutions. As their engineering function continues to grow, they’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build the infrastructure, automation and cloud architecture that supports the next generation of their products.
This isn’t a support-focused DevOps role, this is an opportunity to architect, automate and optimise the infrastructure behind a growing software platform that’s solving real-world challenges. You’ll work alongside software engineers to build scalable cloud environments, strengthen deployment pipelines, improve system reliability and create infrastructure that enables the business to innovate quickly and confidently.

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
- Monitor system performance, availability and security across production environments.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve development and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues while implementing long-term solutions.
- Drive cloud optimisation initiatives that improve scalability and operational efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions across environments.
- Champion DevOps best practices and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Support disaster recovery, security and infrastructure resilience strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer within a modern software environment.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and containerised environments.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python or similar languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of Linux environments and networking concepts.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
