Overview:
Our client is a forex and trading company known for taking a transparent approach with clients, giving them full visibility of their funds and trading history at all times. As they grow their client base, they’re looking for a Junior Sales Developer to help bring new clients and referral partners into the fold. This is an entry-level sales role built around relationship-building rather than cold, transactional selling: you’d identify businesses and individuals who could benefit from the company’s forex services, set up meetings (both warm, through your own network, and cold outreach), and pitch the product in a way that gets deals over the line. Strong performers get handed more responsibility fast, including running client meetings independently.
The role is remote, with candidates based in Cape Town or Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:
- Set up meetings with potential forex clients within your own network
- Set up cold meetings with potential forex clients
- Set up cold meetings with potential referral partners for the company’s forex product
- Plan and execute strategies to attract new clients for forex products
- Take on responsibility for running client meetings independently as you demonstrate strong performance
Requirements
Essential:
- Matric certification
- Fluent in English
- Strong administrative and people skills
- Technically literate and able to pick up new systems quickly
- Comfortable working remotely as a self-starter
- Outstanding communication skills within a remote team
- Strong communication skills with clients
- Resilient, with a strong attitude toward dealing with setbacks
- Previous sales experience
- A tertiary degree
- Ability to work with Microsoft Excel
