  • Engage lawyers and law firms to attend, speak at or co-host thought-leadership events.
  • Track outreach performance and identify what messaging, targeting and channels are generating results.
  • Continuously refine business development activity based on market feedback and performance.
  • Stay informed on developments across white-collar crime, anti-corruption, investigations and enforcement.
  • Use relevant industry developments to create timely and credible reasons to engage prospective clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in business development, sales, partnerships or another commercially focused role.
  • B2B or professional services experience is strongly preferred.
  • Genuine interest in and understanding of the legal sector.
  • Understanding of how law firms are structured and how lawyers develop and serve clients.
  • Proven ability to research and identify relevant target prospects.
  • Experience running effective outbound outreach through email and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to write concise, credible messages for senior professional audiences.
  • Confidence engaging senior lawyers, partners and other senior stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building ability.
  • Highly organised and proactive with strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and tracking business development activity.
  • Knowledge of white-collar crime, anti-corruption, investigations or compliance would be advantageous.
  • An existing network within law firms or the legal sector would be advantageous.
  • Experience with referral, partnership or channel programmes would be beneficial.
  • Experience supporting events, webinars or thought-leadership programmes would be advantageous.
  • A legal qualification or previous legal-sector background would be useful but is not essential.
  • Curious, entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment.
